ICC apologises for farcical final
International Cricket Council chief executive Malcolm Speed has apologised for the farcical end to Saturday’s World Cup final but ruled out blacklisting the erring officials. He said that it was an unnecessary error and was made under difficult circumstances towards the end of the match.
He considered it a very unfortunate way to end the World Cup.
