India confident of getting through to finals

The victory over Argentina sure did boost the morale and confidence of the Indian team before they play hosts Malaysia later today in the semi-finals.

The young and energetic Indian team, led by a new captain and coach Joaquim Carvalho, have surpassed everyone’s expectations. The coach did express that it will be a real challenge for India in the semi-finals and it remains to be seen how they soak up the pressure of the high-intensity match.

The other semi-finals is between Olympic champions Australia and Asian Games gold medallists Korea who will also play later today.
