SACHIN set to be test captain

    Sachin Tendulkar is all set to become the test captain for upcoming tests against Pakistan,Australia and South Africa.

                                  Sources revealed that Sachin has  accepted BCCI offer of being Indian test captain, who will now succeed captaincy after the surprise of Rahul Dravid leaving the same post, just coming back from England , where he registered a test series win to his name.The sources also said that the management is pleased with the way M.S. Dhoni is leading the team in one dayers, meanwhile they do not want to put extra pressure on Dhoni. But he will continue to be the vice-captain in tests. Sachin Tendulkar who succeeded  Mohammad Azharuddin in1996 after the tour of England, had three stints as Indian captain,during which he led the side in 25 tests, winning four and losing nine.Tendulkar gave up the captaincy after the two tests series against South Africa in 2000.
