IPL Day 2 Results

In the first match of the second day at IPL, Chennai Super Kings beat Kings XI Punjab, after piling on a mammoth 239 in their stipulated 20 overs. Michael Hussey was the obvious star of the show with a clinical century to his name off only 50 deliveries, where as Muralitharan proved to be Punjab’s nemesis, with a miserly spell of 1/33 in his 4 overs.

In the second one, the Rajasthan Royals were never in the match, after they got bundled out for less than 130 in the 20 overs. Shane Warne look a little off the mark a a captain, tactically, and did not introduce himself into the attack till very late. By the time, he bowled, the Delhi Dare Devils had already run away with the match,finally won with almost five overs to spare.

Earlier, Akshay Kumar mesmerized the Delhi crowd with his ‘Dare Devil” stunts at the Ferozshah Kotla, which was also hosting it’s first match under lights.
