Very surprising but true. Preity Zinta had some guests come over to Mohali, and to accomodate them in a five star hotel, she actually got some of ‘her’ Kings XI Punjab players to shift out of the hotel they were in to another dingy one – where incidentally, some of the Rani teams had earlier refused to stay as well.
This is a sad commentary of the state of affairs, where one would have thought that the so called ‘corporatization’ of cricket may help the sport, but Preity Zinta seems to have just shown that respect for the one of the most impotant stake holder is not yet forthcoming.
Whatever little support I had for the Kings XI Punjab is gone from my side.

Dear sir,
Involvement of these so called “stars” has made mockery of Cricket which is otherwise called a gentlemen’s game. Under pretext of work, art and so called entertainment, these fellows who are after money and only money, have taken our country and culture to dogs, particularly, in last one and a half decade. Gone are the days of
C.Ramchands, Jaydevs, SD Burmans, Madanmohans,Rajkapoors,Dilipkumars,Sanjeev kumars, Hrishikeshs, Basus and oh! how many more in the Galaxy called Indian Cinema!!!!!. Today these baffoons (we call them ‘Kodangi’ in Kannada)around in the name of music we just get barks and shrieks. In the name of dance? Not said the better.
They should confine themselves to the Studios and should not come to stadiums.
