In what turned out to be a totally one sided match, Kings XI Punjab beat the Bangalore Royal Challengers by 6 wickets. Batting first after being put in by Yuvraj Singh, Rahul Dravid’s side lost a couple of wickets in the first over itself which stalled their momentum even before it had begun.
Dravid scored his highest score, and was helped by Virat Kohli, but in an inning that contained five ducks, and only two scores in double figures, you could not expect anything more than 126. The score looked like a walk in the park, as Shaun Marsh proved his credentials yet again with a match winning knock of 39, but the Man of the Match award went to S. Sreesanth for his analysis of 4-0-16-2.
