Much to the hope of other team supporters, Mumbai Indians beat Rajasthan Royals by seven wickets in Mumbai to score their third straight win in the Indian Premier League. Rajasthan Royals were bowled out for a meagre 103 runs and the match was pretty much one sided for the remainder of the game with Jayasuriya, Takawale and Uthappa doing most of the job easily.
Pollock and Nehra were the star bowlers for the Mumbai Indians as they provided the initial important breakthroughs and were fully backed by Kulkarni, Bravo and Raje later. The Royals had virtually nothing to show in their bowling department.
Looks like the presence of Mukesh Ambani and Sachin Tendulkar proved to be lucky for the Mumbai Indians.
Shane Warne needs to do some thinking after today’s performance.
