Sachin doubtful for today’s clash

Mumbai Indians take on the Rajasthan Royals in today’s clash, in what may have been a battle of Warne versus Tendulkar. Now, it does not seem like that any more, with Sachin’s injury not yet having healed properly, sources close to Tendulkar have said that he may still not play today.

From the team’s perspective, Mumbai Indians are languishing down in the table with only 4 points, where as RR are at the top of the ladder with 10! And with Warne still having a point or two to prove, one can simply not expect any liberties from him.

Mumbai Indians are desperate for a win to have any chances of qualifying, where as a victory to RR would almost make it very difficult for teams to chuck them out of the race to the semis.
