Prasad wants the owners to be patient

Bangalore Royal Challengers coach Venkatesh Prasad has hit back at reports that he was on his way out of the IPL Franchise. He gave this statement in response to Charu Sharma’s removal from the post of CEO of the team, after Royal Challengers have failed to impress in the IPL so far.

Rahul Dravid’s team have lost six out of the eight games they have played in the tournament, and thus questions have been raised time & again as to whether the players are good enough to play in this form of cricket. Often, the Bangalore team has been labeled as a test team and this has only miffed their owner Vijay Mallya.

The whole debate started when Misbah-ul-Haq was not included in the starting eleven for the last two matches, inspite of the poor performances of the team, and only got to play in their last match against Kolkata KnightRiders.
