India races into the Azlan Shah final

India enter Azlan Shah Hockey finals in MalaysiaIndia raced into the final of the Sultan Azlan Shah hockey tournament by beating Malaysia 2-1 in their final league match in Ipoh, Malaysia.

The two goals from India came in the first half of the match, whereas the Malaysians could only manage their only goal during the last few minutes of the game. This was their fourth continuous win after initial losses. They marginally outscored the Pakistan team in the points department – India was at 12 points and Pakistan at 10 points.

India, who came third last year in this tournament, will take on Argentina in the finals.
