Chennai look to qualify

Chennai Super Kings take on Rajasthan Royals in their second last match of the league phase, today.

It is a simple deal for them really, they just have to win one of their two matches and their place will be confirmed in the knock out phase. However this will be easier said than done, as Rajasthan Royals have literally steam rolled all opposition in front of them, except Delhi DareDevils and Mumbai Indians who have beaten them once each.

Chennai’s other game will be against the low on confidence Deccan Chargers but in a tournament, that has seen quick reversal in fortunes, the Super Kings will be vary of leaving it to the last match and thus will take the field with a full strength side.

Rajasthan on the other hand, will look to keep the momentum going, but would still want to try out some new players in order to keep in mind all combinations when they face their opponents in the semis.
