Yusuf Pathan and Pragyan Ojha in, Dravid and Ganguly out

The good performance by Yusuf Pathan for the Rajasthan Royals has found him a berth in the updoming Tri-series in Bangladesh and Asia Cup. Left-arm spinner Pragyan Ojha has also found himself in the squad.

The BCCI knows that it needs to prepare itself for the next World Cup and has chosen a young squad for the upcoming series.

RP Singh has been recalled to the team while Munaf Patel who hasn’t performed well in the IPL league matches has been left out. Manoj Tiwary and Dinesh Karthik have also been dropped.

Rohit Sharma is also being given a chance for his excellent performance for the Deccan Chargers.

Tendulkar backed out from the forthcoming series stating his unavailability due to groin injury while Saurav Ganguly and Dravid have again not been considered.

Harbhajan Singh who was banned for 5 ODIs for slapping teammate S Sreesanth during a Punjab-Mumbai IPL match last month was also left out.
