Dhoni for Euro??

M S Dhoni Mahendra Singh Dhoni is without doubt the most famous Indian captain ever. And if the trends suggest then his popularity is set to soar to new heights in the coming times.

On Monday, he received an invite from one of the main sponsors of Euro 2008, Carlsberg, to be a guest for one of the matches. In fact, it is more than just an invitation to watch a match.

If everything falls into place, he will actually be giving away the Man of the Match award on June 15 for the Portugal-Switzerland game in Basel. However this poses a problem as the Indian team is slated to tour Bangladesh around the same time and if everything goes according to plan, the final will be on 14th , which means that he will have problems reaching in time.

Even then, just imagine seeing some of the world’s best footballers share the limelight with the Indian captain. Or is it the other way round?
