Drug charges dropped against Mohd Asif

Mohammad AsifPakistan Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates Ahsan Ullah Khan has stated that the charges against Pakistani fast paced bowler Mohammad Asif have been dropped as the detention in Dubai was the result of a misunderstanding.

Asif was travelling back to Pakistan via Dubai after playing for the Delhi Daredevils in India but was detained in Dubai on charges of carrying drugs which infact was an ayurvedic medicine.
