Support staff to continue
Former Indian medium pacer Venkatesh Prasad and all-rounder Robin Singh will continue as India’s bowling coach and fielding coach respectively for the tri-series in Bangladesh and the Asia Cup in Pakistan. A decision to award the two with long term contracts will only be taken by the BCCI after the Asia Cup.
Meanwhile, Arindam Ganguly, secretary of the Tripura Cricket Association (TCA), has been appointed manager of the Indian team for the tri-series in Bangladesh while the manager for the Asia Cup to be held from June 24 would be announced later.
