India vs Pakistan: India chose to bat

India take on Pakistan in the 2nd ODI of the Kitply cup in Dhaka today.

After winning the toss, Indian captain MS Dhoni elected to bat first and the openers got off to a good start. Virender Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir had put on 76 runs in 10 overs and were looking comfortable at the crease, even though there were reports that Sehwag might miss the match due to injury.

The Indians will be looking to get in the groove ahead of a long season and would want to get out of the IPL mode to play some serious cricket.

Pakistan have fielded an unchanged side from the last game and are on 12 match unbeaten run. They will be looking for their 13th consecutive win against their arch rivals.

Update

India have scored 271/6 in 42.5 overs with Yuvraj Singh just out and Raina still at crease. Sehwag scored 89 of 76 balls before being out, Gambhir and Yuvraj have scored 62 and 55 respectively. It has started raining and the match has been delayed.
