Indian coach Gary Kirsten thinks that the senior players are still needed by the team, in order to find the perfect balance in the squad.
Fresh legs and new faces may have given Team India a young look but coach Garry Kirsten believes senior players can still play a role in the side even though they are not part of the mix right now.
Ganguly and Dravid have been dropped for the second consecutive ODI series after the CB series in Australia earlier this year while Tendulkar is nursing a groin injury after the IPL.
