Dhoni wins toss; India to bat
India have won the toss against Pakistan in their semis league match in the Asia cup.
On a flat and placid pitch, that will not offer much to the bowlers again, captain MS Dhoni didn’t have any problems opting to bat first and the Indians will be looking to cash in & putting up a big total on the board.
Sehwag and Piyush Chawla are back in the side after being rested against Bangladesh. Irfan Pathan is back in the side and this means that he will be playing alongside his brother Yusuf Pathan again, as he comes in place of Robin Uthappa while Ishant comes in for Manpreet Gony.
Pakistan have made the worst start possible as their captain Shoaib Mallik collapsed during a fitness test and hence won’t be playing this match owing to dehydration. Misbah ul Haq will be leading in his place.
