Sourav Ganguly and Rahul Dravid have again missed the bus for the ODIs, as the two batting stalwarts were left out of the team for the forthcoming Champions Trophy in September. It now seems that the two will never get to play limited overs cricket on the international stage unless something changes drastically for the both of them. Inspite of good showing in the IPL, the two have now been repeatedly ignored for the past 10 months.

India’s under-19 skipper Virat Kohli and Mumbai youngster Abhishek Nayar have been selected in the list of 30 probables for ICC Champions Trophy after their showing in the IPL. Ravindra Jadeja and Ajinkya Rahane are the other two youngsters who made the list. The discarded Mohd. Kaif too was included in the probables.

Probables: Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, Yuvraj Singh, Sachin Tendulkar, Zaheer Khan, Rohit Sharma, Harbhajan Singh, Robin Uthappa, Suresh Raina, Piyush Chawla, RP Singh, Irfan Pathan, Ishant Sharma, Praveen Kumar, Manpreet Gony, Pragyan Ojha, Parthiv Patel, Dinesh Karthik, S Badrinath, Mohammed Kaif, Manoj Tiwary, Abhishek Nayar, Pankaj Singh, Murali Kartik, Virat Kohli, Ravindra Jadeja, Ajinkya Rahane, Yusuf Pathan and S Sreesanth.
