Tendulkar was joined by English right-hander Ian bell at 13th. Bell rattled off a Test-best 199 in the drawn encounter with South Africa at Lord’s to climb nine spots in the rankings. However, the other Indians in the top-20 slipped with Dravid losing a spot to be 15th. Same was the case with Sehwag, Ganguly and Laxman, who dropped a spot to 18th, 19th and 20th respectively.
In the bowling list, Anil Kumble is the highest-placed Indian at the eighth spot followed by Zaheer Khan at the joint 14th position. Off-spinner Harbhajan Singh is 18th in the charts.
