Jagmohan Dalmiya will make a comeback to cricket admiinistration if he wins the Cricket Association of Bengal elections tomorrow, having spent 18 months in wilderness.

Confident, on the eve of the CAB election, Dalmiya said, “Naturally, it’ll be a win for us (our group). I know I’ve the support that’s why I’ve come in to the fray…”

Asked whether he feels it will be a cakewalk for him, the former ICC, BCCI and ACC president, said: “I don’t believe in speculation. I know we’re winning and that’s it. The stage was set few months ago. I was pressurised (by CAB members) to throw in my hat. They said the Bengal cricket (especially after the Ranji relegation) needs me badly, so I’m here fighting — for the betterment of state cricket.”
