Tendulkar to act now
After Salil Ankola, Vinod Kambli and Ajay Jadeja, now Sachin Tendulkar will make his debut on the 70mm screen.
However, unlike other cricketers who have acted in commercial cinema, Tendulkar will feature in film based on Mumbai’s famous Siddhivinayak temple which will be directed by Yashwanth Ingavale who has assisted Madhur Bhandarkar previously.
The film focusses on the devotees who visit the Siddhivinayak temple and their experiences. Tendulkar will not charge a single penny for the film.
