Sri Lanka looking to make changes

buy books online

Sri Lanka will be looking to make changes to their final eleven for the third test against India at Colombo, starting 8th August. The Lankans won the first test by an innings and lost the second test by 170 runs, which means that the series is now poised at 1-1.

The pitch at Premdasa is expected to be bouncier than seen in the series so far and this brings the microscope on their two fast bowlers, Kulasekara and Vaas, both of whom have been below par in the series. This will be seen in new light now, especially that the Indian duo of Ishant and Zaheer have done so well.

Grapevine is that uncapped bowler Dammika Prasad might be brought in for Kulaekara while Vaas might just be retained. Also, the scanner is on Michael Vandort as well, as he has failed in two tests continously but he might just make the cut.
