India were fighting had to stay alive in the third test match at lunch on the fourth day against Sri Lanka at Colombo.
Dravid and Laxman started the fightback in the morning and they batted quite well as Dravid brought up his half century, while Laxman was batting with the help of a runner. After an 85 run partnership, Mendis got his man again as he dismissed Dravid for the fourth time in the series.
Laxman then brought up his own fifty, his first in the series as he continued to fight while wickets fell around him as Kumble was the next to go.
India lead by 91 runs and with three wickets in hand, they would like the lead to go upto 150 atleast to make a fight of it.
