India made an amazing come back after the let down in the first match of the five match ODI series against Sri Lanka at Dambulla.
After winning the toss, MS Dhoni elected to bowl first but that was due to the absence of Gautam Gambhir because of stiffness. However, it proved to be the right decision as Zaheer Khan made good use of the bounce in the pitch and the wind blowing across the ground, as he ran through the top order of the hosts.
Zaheer took 4 for 21 in ten overs but it was his first spell that left Lanka tottering at 11 for 4. From then on, there was no way back, as Praveen Kumar joined in with 3 for 34 and Bhajji snapped up two wickets.
However the only concern was when Kulasekara and Thushara strung together a partnership which let them put on 74 runs and enabled them to reach 142. It remains to be seen now, how the Indian batsmen cope with the Lankan spinners.
