India and Sri Lanka go head to head in the second leg of the ODI series which starts today at Premdasa Stadium in Colombo. All the remaning three matches will be played at this venue and all three will be day-night matches.

Scoreboard

Team news suggests that Sri Lanka will go in with the same team in batting inspite of the failure in the last match, which can be considered a one off as the likes of Jayasuriya have done well here against the Indians. And he is also due for some runs.

The other change expected is the return of Chaminda Vaas after missing the last match. Since this is a day night game, there will be dew and the pacers on both sides can be expected to play an important role.

India will also be looking to welcome back Gautam Gambhir who has recovered from a stiff neck and he is the best equipped to deal with the spinners. If he can get over the initial overs, India will be looking for a long innings from him. His return would mean that Rohit Sharma might have to sit out as Badrinath impressed in his only outing and the former has been in poor form as well.
