Sri Lanka go into the fourth ODI against India knowing fully that a loss will mean that this young Indian side has turned the tables on them and that the series is gone 3-1, with a match left to play.
The Sri Lankan batting has simply failed to fire with only their captain coming up with any sort of answers to the Indian attack. Therefore, we could see some changes in the middle order with Chamara Silva under threat. Even Jayasuriya and Sangakkara are due some runs, so it will be interesting to see what batting order the hosts follow? Will they continue to give their best batsmen the maximum time in the middle or will Sangakkara come a bit down?
After losing the first game, the Indians have made a terrific recovery and thus should have the momentum behind them. However, its their bowling that has really fired and that too only the seam attack. They are supposedly going in with an unchanged squad which means that the problem of the fifth bowler could come up if things go wrong.
It is another day-night match and thus, the team winning the toss would want to bat first and make use of the seamer friendly conditions in the evening. The match beings at 2.30 pm IST.
