India vs Sri Lanka, 4th ODI: Match today

Incessant rains meant that no play was possible in the 4th ODI between India and Sri Lanka in the ongoing five match ODI series.

The rains started in the afternoon and just refused to go away, which meant that play will now only be possible today, and that is if there is no more raining. The drainage system at Premdasa Stadium is not one of the latest and there is ecery possibility that the match might not happen at all.

However, the best part is that the umpires can wait till late in the evening, 8pm Sri Lankan time, to reduce the game to a 20-overs a side contest as the match is a day-night game scheduled to begin at 2.30 pm.
