India vs Sri Lanka, 5th ODI: SL win toss & bat

Sri Lanka finally won the toss for the first time in the series and chose to bat in the 5th ODI against India at the Premdasa Stadium. India have already wrapped up the series 3-1.

Scorecard

India has gone in with five bowlers with Irfan Pathan coming in at number seven in place of S.Badrinath. Also in the team are Pragyan Ojha and RP Singh while Praveen Kumar and Harbhajan Singh have been rested.

Sri Lanka have rested Dilshan, Murali and Vaas and this might still play into the hands of the Indians as chasing might get easier in front of a weaker bowling attack. Jehan Mubarak, Dilhara Fernando and Mahela Udawatte have been brought in to play their first match of the series.
