Rest of India displayed their bowling strength early on the second day as they took 5 wickets in the morning session to peg Delhi back in the Irani Trophy match at Vadodara.

The morning didn’t start well for Delhi who lost Gambhir early to Zaheer, but then Aakash Chopra and Sehwag went about rebuilding the innings. They put on 57 runs for the 2nd wicket when Munaf Patel was introduced to the attack and he brought about a mini collapse.

First Chopra for 42 and then Kohli for 4, went in quick succession. And then, Kumble had Sehwag caught at slip. Munaf returned to get Mithu Manhas which meant that Delhi lost 4 wickets for 22 runs. Rajat Bhatia and Puneet Bisht then batted out the session with great caution.
