Lahore Badhsahs are led by the legendary Pakistani batsman Inzamam ul Haq and coached by the mercurial Moin Khan. They were the first all-international side to play in the ICL and took the meaning of Indo-Pak rivalry a notch higher.
Their batting line-up boasts of all explosive batsmen namely, Taufeeq Umar, Imran Farhat and Imran Nazir, all of whom have played international cricket for Pakistan. Their batting led by the ageing Inzy was the primary reason that they set the stage alight in only their first appearance in the Edelweiss 20s where they were unbeaten in the league stage, only to lose in the best of three finals.
Their pace attack is led by the talented Mohd. Sami and Riyaz Afridi and supported by Pakistani spin trio of Saqlain Mushtaq, Mushtaq Ahmed & Arshad Khan, and surely they present a challenge against any team’s batting.
Squad: Inzamam ul Haq (captain), Azhar Mahmood, Arshad Khan, Hassan Reza, Hummayun Farhat, Imran Nazir, Mohammed Sami, Mushtaq Ahmed, Naveed Latif, Rana Naved ul Hasan, Riaz Afridi, Saqlain Mushtaq, Shahid Nazir, Taufeeq Umar.
