Mumbai Champs

Mumbai Champs belong to the historical home of Indian cricket and this city is fittingly led by the legendary Brian Lara. However, their previous attempts at glory in the ICL haven’t been that successful and this they will be looking to make an improvement from this time round, especially Lara, who is yet to set the stage on fire. This year though he might not turn up and in his absence, the team will be led by another swashbuckling player, Nathan Astle.

This year they have included West Indian pacer Tino Best in their team and with the consistently accurate Michael Kasprowicz, they will hope the bowling won’t let them down like the last season. Domestic all-rounders Robin Morris and Kiran Powar beef up their line-up as do the batsmen led by Dheeraj Jadhav.

Surely they will be looking to make amends for the wrongs of the last season. They are coached by 1983 world cup winner Sandeep Patil.
