Australia continued their march to safety and probably a winning position on the second day of the first test against India at the chinnaswamny stadium in Bangalore.
Mike Hussey continued where he left off, after lunch, but Haddin could not support him for long as he was foxed by a slower delivery from Ishant to be out for 33. Sharma then took his fourth wicket of the innings when he had Cameron White caught for just six.
However, Brett Lee thwarted the Indian attack to score 27 runs but he was bowled in the first over after tea by Zaheer Khan. Hussey is still not out on 139, but now the Indians will be looking to wrap up the Aussie innings as early as possible.
