Michael Hussey stood tall against the Indian bowlers as Australia pressed home their advantage on the second day of the first test in the Border Gavaskar trophy 2008 at Bangalore.
Starting the day at 245 for 4, Shane Watson fell early to Ishant Sharma for just two runs, but there after Hussey and Brad Haddin stuck in and drove the Indian bowlers to desperation. Hussey made his way to an unbeaten 92 and Haddin was on 26 when lunch was taken at 333 for 5.
For their part, the Indians were guilty of giving away too many singles and the spinners were totally ineffective as they bowled the wrong line at the wrong pace, especially to Hussey.
