The Lal Bahadur Shastri stadium plunged into darkness when all the four floodlights went off all of a sudden, forcing a halt to the match. After waiting for around 50 minutes, umpires declared Hyderabad Heroes the winner by 18 runs, according to the VJD method.
Chasing a moderate target of 166 set by the Hyderabad team earlier, Lahore Badshah were on 30 for two in six overs when the lights went out at 2255 hours and both the teams walked out of the ground.
Earlier Ambati Rayudu ensured the hosts put up a competitive score making 58 off 42 balls helping his team set the target.
