Upul Chandana’s brilliant bowling spell coupled with an superb knock of unbeaten 76 by Hamish Marshall steered the Royal Bengal Tigers all the way into a comprehensive eight-wicket victory over Lahore Badshahs in the ICL 20s Indian Championship at the LB stadium in Hyderabad on Sunday.
Lahore Badshahs have now lost two consecutive matches.
After electing to bat, Badshahs could only post 139-6 in their alloted 20 overs as some tight bowling by the Tigers never let the Pakistani team take-off. The Tigers not only kept the run-rate under check but also kept taking wickets at regular intervals to maintain an upper hand throughout.
