Australia struggled to make a headway on the third day of the second test against India at Mohali in the 2008 Border Gavaskar Trophy 2008.
Starting at the overnight score of 102 for 4, the Aussies lost another three wickets in the first session. The biggest blow was the dismissal of Mike Hussey who scored another half century to add to his ton in the first test. He was the first man to go and after that Amit Mishra engineered a mini collapse as Brad Haddin and Cameron White followed him quickly to reduce Australia to 167/7.
But then Shane Watson and Brett Lee got together and they put on 73 runs to help Australia get near the follow on mark and thus force India to bat again. Just before tea, Bhajji got the scalp of Lee.
