Indian tennis stars Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhuapthi have been placed in Gold and Red groups respectively along with their partners for the prestigious season ending $4,450,000 Tennis Masters Cup, to be held in Shanghai.
Paes and his Czech partner Lukas Dlouhy are seeded sixth in the Gold Group along with three other teams. Bhupathi and his Bahamian partner Mark Knowles are seeded third and find themselves with top seeded pair of Mike and Bob Bryan.
The top two teams from each group will make the semifinals.
Both Paes and Bhupathi are yet to win the Masters Cup title in their respective careers.
