Hyderabad Heroes were at their dominating best as they thrashed the Royal Bengal Tigers by nine wickets in game 34 of the ICL 20-20 Indian Championship at the Sardar Vallabhai Patel Stadium in Ahmedabad on Saturday.
Chasing a modest 112, the Heroes cruised home with more than four overs to spare. Ibrahim Khaleel (54 not out) and Ambati Rayadu (46 not out) ensured the Heroes reached the target without much trouble after Abdul Razzaq was dismissed for seven.
Earlier, Inder Shekhar Reddy was once again impressive as he took three wickets in his 3.4 overs to scuttle out the Tigers in 19.2 overs. The Bengal Tigers were on the backfoot right from the start of the game after they were asked to bat first. Only skipper Craig McMillan was able to hold the fort for a while as the rest of the batting fell victim to some shocking strokeplay and a disciplined Hyderabad attack.
