IPL: Delhi Dare Devils vs Kings XI Punjab

Delhi Dare Devils and Kings XI Punjab will go head to head in the 3rd match of the IPL on Sunday. The match will be played in Cape Town.

This will be the match between the semifinalists from last year and both teams will be looking to go one up on the other in order to make the perfect start in a bid to go one better than last year.

Delhi have added quite a few faces to their squad in the form of Owais Shah, Paul Collingwood and David Warner. It will be interesting to see which of the foreign players will get to play because they also have AB de Villiers and Tilakratne Dilshan with them as also Fervez Maharoof and Glenn McGrath in the bowling department. They got Ashish Nehra from Mumbai Indians and he will provide balance to the team for they will be able to plan an extra foreign player. They have Virender Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir opening the innings in what is the most lethal combination in cricket at the moment.

Kings XI Punjab haven’t had a good off season for many of their players are either injured or are away on international commitments. They will be missing a number of bowling options in Brett Lee, James Hopes and Sreesanth plus missing Shaun Marsh in the batting department as well. Their major hopes will rest in Mahela Jayawardene and Kumar Sangakkara as also captain Yuvraj Singh. Tom Moody as coach will have a very important role to play.

The match will begin at 4pm IST.
