IPL: Bangalore Royal Challengers v Kings XI Punjab

Bangalore Royal Challengers will play Kings XI Punjab in the 11th match of the IPL at Durban. Bangalore have two points while Punjab have zero points.

Previously Royal Challengers have played three matches and lost two of them. That is down to their poor batting efforts with only Rahul Dravid making any sizeable contributions. Kevin Pietersen, Jesse Ryder and the other foreign players have been a failure as only Virat Kohli has somewhat supported Dravid somewhat. They started well in the first match bowling out Rajasthan Royals, but after that their bowling too has faded a lot.

Kings XI Punjab have been very unlucky in their matches so far losing both due to rain and D-L method. But having said that they haven’t really made good work of their chances in both the matches. They are missing key players and their bowling is really weak missing key international level players. The batting mainly relies on Yuvraj Singh and while he has failed to get going, the other batsmen too have done nothing of note.
