Moises Henriques scored an unbeaten half-century and then picked up three wickets as New South Wales qualified for the second stage of the Champions League Twenty20 with a 35-run win over Sussex in Delhi.
Henriques was not out on 51 in 33 balls alongside Phillip Hughes, who made 62 in 64 as New South Wales scored 130 for two which was enough to close out the game on a slow pitch.
Henriques then returned three for 23 with Brett Lee, Doug Bollinger, Stephen Smith and Nathan Hauritz grabbing a wicket apiece as Sussex were restricted to 95 for eight in reply.
Sussex now meet the Eagles in a match that will see the winner survive and the loser exit the competition; the Cape Cobras are the other side to have already qualified.
